Who we are

Whomet is run by Signif Solutions LLC, a Texas company (“we”). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Whomet on the web or on iPhone. By using Whomet, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Your account

You sign in with your email address. Keep that email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in to Whomet as you. You're responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else got in, email hello@whomet.app.

Using Whomet fairly

Please don't:

  • use Whomet for anything illegal;
  • harass, stalk or threaten anyone;
  • use the people you add for spam or bulk messages, or scrape or resell their details;
  • add information about people that you aren't allowed to have;
  • try to break into, overload or disrupt Whomet, or get at other people's data.

Your content stays yours

The people, notes, photos and everything else you put in Whomet stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and show that content only as needed to run Whomet for you, including through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We don't use it for anything else.

Other people's information

Whomet holds information about the people you add. You're responsible for having the right to keep that information and for how you use it. We never contact them and never show them to other users.

The service

Whomet is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that card reading and industry sorting will always be right. Some features may be in beta. We may change, add or remove features over time.

Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose. You can export your data in Settings › Account.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost profits, lost business or lost data, that come from using Whomet or not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.

Ending things

You can stop anytime by deleting your account in Settings › Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you by email when we can.

Texas law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using Whomet after that, the new terms apply. Questions? Email hello@whomet.app.
